The new Tangen public transport terminal was ceremoniously opened with pomp and splendor on 10 June, with representatives of Viken county council, Viken public transport terminals FKF, Nesodden municipality, Ruter AS, Norled AS and other prominent guests present.

- It is a real pleasure to be able to open such a great and modern terminal building here at Nesoddtangen. In 2019, Nesoddfergen had over 2 million passengers, which makes the ferry connection Norway's busiest ferry connection for passenger traffic. Now there are again reports of a rising traffic curve, and that is indeed good news in these times.

- If we are to reach our climate goals, it is very important to have an attractive public transport service for travellers, and with this great facility here at Nesoddtangen, we are contributing to that, says a proud county mayor.
